Your Responsibilities

As an Associate IT Engineer, you will work closely with project managers and technical leads to deliver IT solutions. You will apply your subject matter expertise to technical tasks, supporting the delivery of projects through all stages of their lifecycle, from conception to in-service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying problems, providing pragmatic solutions, and delivering outputs such as Technical presentations, Technical documentation, Test plans and reports, User guides and work instructions, Design or process documents, Hardware or software builds, and System installation or integration.
  • Undertaking the delivery of technical tasks with moderate guidance.
  • Providing new perspectives and proposing solutions to issues.
  • Offering advice and guidance to other members of the team.
  • Contributing to the estimation of effort required for tasks.

Essential Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience working on projects with a strong understanding of IT procedures and concepts within their specific domain.
  • Experience with Windows Client/Server Infrastructure, Networking, Virtualisation (Hyper-V), and Linux.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
  • Experience working on a range of engineering projects.
  • The ability to act as a technical point of contact for support within their domain.

Essential Qualifications

  • A degree in Science or Engineering, or an equivalent, nationally recognised, professional qualification.
