About the Role
As an Early Careers and Skills Development Coach at BAE Systems, you will be instrumental in shaping the future workforce. You will be responsible for developing learners through the design and delivery of structured experiential programmes, complemented by formal training and education. This blended learning approach is designed to drive vocational excellence. A key aspect of this role involves providing exceptional pastoral support to learners, guiding them from recruitment through to the successful completion of their training.
Core Duties
- Facilitate the delivery of effective Early Careers programmes.
- Monitor and assess learners against relevant standards to support the attainment of occupational competence.
- Coach, develop, and inspire learners to achieve their full potential and become autonomous employees.
- Provide and monitor effective safeguarding, SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment), welfare, and support arrangements for learners on Early Careers & Skills programmes.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are embedded in all activities.
About You
We are looking for a skilled professional with a proven track record of occupational competence within the given sector, possessing a relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent. You should have demonstrable experience of working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and a strong background in coaching and supporting learners.
The Early Careers Manufacturing and Engineering Team
You will be a vital part of the Early Careers team, where you'll have the opportunity to engage, motivate, and inspire learners to reach their full potential and enhance their skills. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the highest levels of quality and safety across all learning activities. You will also contribute to curriculum design and the development of training materials, continuously improving the learning experience.
