Full Stack Developer
BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Software Engineering team in Bristol. You will play a key role in building systems that support the core mission capabilities of our Law Enforcement customers. Working within agile teams, you'll have regular contact with end-users to effectively understand, design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure applications and services.
This role offers the opportunity to identify new problem-solving approaches and the potential to work across various teams within customer organisations. We are a collaborative environment, working across 10 countries to collect, connect, and understand complex data for governments, nation states, armed forces, and commercial businesses.
Key Technologies and Skills:
- Application Technologies: Frontend & API (Node / React / NextJS, Typescript, Docker, Azure Web App, ExpressJS)
- Backend – Functions: Node, Typescript, Azure Function App
- Backend – Search: Elasticsearch, Kubernetes
- Infrastructure Technology: Microsoft Azure (Function Apps, Web Apps, Container Registry, Kubernetes Service, API Management, Cosmos DB, Log Analytics Workspace), Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) authentication, Machine Learning Studio
- DevOps: Azure DevOps (Repos, wiki, boards, pipelines), Self-hosted pipelines agent
- Infrastructure as Code: Bicep
- Solution Management: Kubernetes (Azure Kubernetes Service, Helm charts), Elastic and Kibana
