About the Role
As a Media Developer, you will bring learning to life through graphic design, video, animation, and interactive content. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your creative and technical skills while contributing to essential defence training programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging e-learning packages and multimedia assets from concept to delivery.
- Collaborate with training experts and stakeholders to understand learning objectives and translate them into creative solutions.
- Present design concepts and explain creative decisions to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Create high-quality visuals using industry-standard tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modelling software.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
Working Arrangements:
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract role until June 2027. The role is based onsite at Lyneham, with set working times of Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 1pm, totalling 37 hours per week. Hybrid working arrangements are in place, allowing for one day a week working from home.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience in multimedia development or digital learning environments.
- Proficiency in rapid e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
- Confident use of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience creating multimedia or 3D assets using tools such as Autodesk 3DS Max or Blender.
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification, or equivalent experience in a digital learning or media environment.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National and able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
