How You Will Contribute to the Team

  • Seamlessly support the Head of Quality by stepping in to collaboratively guide the Belfast Quality team and represent the department in vital Plant, Operations, and Programme reviews.
  • Collaborate across the business to secure and uphold essential TCCA/ACLP approvals for the A220 programme by thoughtfully guiding NOE/QSR/SARI activities.
  • Understand and monitor all A220 Quality budgets (RC & NRC), cooperatively developing the necessary documentation and justifications to secure financial support for the team.
  • Take a supportive lead on key quality projects in the QIP plan, ensuring they are fully funded, aligned with shared plant objectives, and delivered cooperatively across teams.
  • Develop balanced scorecards and essential business metrics to guide decision-making, while thoughtfully adopting digitalization and AI solutions to support team efficiency and reduce collective workload.

About You

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Extensive professional experience in the formal delivery and implementation of business projects and performance management frameworks.
  • Direct, practical experience operating as a business leader within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated capability in financial tracking, specifically monitoring departmental spend versus budget for Recurring Cost (RC) and Non-Recurring Cost (NRC).
  • Applied expertise in deploying formal project management methodologies to ensure deliverables are met on time, to cost, and to quality standards.
  • Technical experience in generating business metrics, building balanced scorecards, and integrating digitalization or AI software solutions into operational workflows.

Candidate Requirements

  • Extensive experience in delivering and implementing projects and managing performance.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment as a business leader.
