About the Role
Join BAE Systems as a Senior Business Analyst, playing a pivotal role in identifying business challenges, analyzing operational requirements, and delivering practical solutions. You will be instrumental in driving improvements through both automated and non-automated process enhancements. This position involves undertaking advanced modeling to support major change programmes and significantly influence the future direction of the organisation.
You will have the opportunity to improve practices, processes, and standards while driving localized quality improvements across systems and services. Working within the Air sector business unit, you will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and military customers. This offers broad exposure and the chance to contribute to meaningful operational and organisational improvements within a complex and safety-critical environment.
Core Duties
- Investigate business situations with complexity and ambiguity, adopting a holistic view to identify and analyze problems and opportunities.
- Contribute to the selection of appropriate approaches and techniques for business situation analysis, engaging and collaborating with operational stakeholders.
- Define and manage scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity.
- Facilitate stakeholder input, provide constructive challenge, and enable effective prioritization of requirements.
- Contribute to the delivery of Product Management requirements within the business, relating to IT-enabled opportunities, and represent the business's best interests with customers and BAE Systems globally.
Essential Skills & Experience
- British Computer Society Diploma in Business Analysis.
- A proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience of business process modeling and utilizing appropriate requirements management tools.
- Requirements definition and management experience.
- Experience of mentoring, coaching, and managing a small team.

As part of the Digital Data & Infrastructure (DD&I) Service Delivery Team, you will drive innovation and support a diverse portfolio of projects within our Architecture Practice, with a strong focus on the Air sector. Location & Working Arrangements
