Senior Business Systems Analyst

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be instrumental in delivering innovative engineering software solutions that support vital defence and aerospace projects. Your expertise will directly impact our business, society, and your professional development.
In this role, you will ensure the seamless operation of our systems, empowering teams to design, build, and maintain assets crucial for national security. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and configure engineering software applications to meet specific business requirements.
- Provide essential 2nd and 3rd line support for engineering systems.
- Deliver minor system changes and actively contribute to project delivery within your area of expertise.
- Ensure adherence to application roadmaps and architectural standards.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and technical teams to optimize solutions.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining IT solutions.
- Proficiency in using Asite – 3D BIM Toolset.
- Basic knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Computer Aided Design (CAD), Product Lifecycle/Data Management, Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), Design Analysis, Integrated Logistic Support and Technical Publications.
Qualifications:
- An IT or Engineering-related degree, or an equivalent qualification.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national and able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
