Senior Marketing Manager - Defence Digital & Cyber UK
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to join our Defence Digital and Cyber UK Marketing Team at Airbus Defence and Space. This is a strategic role with a significant impact on business growth, demanding maturity and autonomy. You will be instrumental in supporting marketing and sales efforts through strategic market analysis, business development, content creation, and cross-functional coordination.
This full-time permanent position is based in our Newport, South Wales office, with hybrid working options available. You will report to the Head of Marketing for Defence Digital & Cyber and benefit from an international environment, working with cutting-edge digital defence technologies.
Your Contribution to the Team:
- Define product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for military and civil defence customers to support campaigns and business development.
- Conduct comprehensive market, competitor, and customer analyses.
- Support portfolio and program management in product roadmap definition.
- Collaborate with Sales and regional teams to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and tactics to expand market reach and drive business growth.
- Lead go-to-market activities for new and existing Defence Digital products and solutions.
- Drive priorities based on company strategy and operational needs.
- Manage stakeholders across various functions (sales, regional representatives, engineering, portfolio management, communications) and countries.
- Ensure effective information and knowledge sharing with relevant stakeholders.
About You:
- Marketing, business, or technical education and background.
- Experience in a role related to the defence industry.
- Proven experience in business development and strategic marketing.
- Proficiency in leveraging various marketing channels, including Content, Digital, and B2G.
- In-depth knowledge of strategic and market analysis.
- Experience utilizing tools such as Salesforce, AI, and dashboards.
- Strong project management skills with a delivery mindset.
