Supply Chain Coordinator

As a Supply Chain Coordinator at Devonport, near Plymouth, Devon, you’ll play a vital role at the heart of our procurement operations, supporting the efficient flow of materials, services, and information that keep critical defence and engineering projects on track. Key Responsibilities:
- Convert approved requisitions into purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
- Monitor and manage open purchase orders, keeping system data up to date.
- Resolve invoice queries promptly, working closely with finance and accounts payable teams.
- Support Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) reconciliation activities to maintain financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely procurement operations.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Confidently use Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a procurement or supply chain environment is preferred.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
Desirable:
- CIPS qualification or equivalent.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
