About the Role
This position is responsible for material planning using a Material Resource Planning (MRP) program within a Windows-based business system. The primary goal is to ensure the availability of materials essential for the manufacture of the company’s products.
Core Duties
- Ensure Works Orders are serialised, including clear identification of material shortages.
- Manage work order closure, tracking, and batching size of work orders.
- Review and process MRP exception messages.
- Liaise effectively with Procurement, Inward Goods, Stores, and the Shop Floor.
- Manage rework order release and internal allocation.
- Control the electronic and physical movement of material, both internally and to vendors.
About the Team
This is an exciting opportunity to work within an Integrated Project Team (IPT). You will release Purchase Requisitions and Works Orders to procure components and build assemblies in accordance with a delivery schedule. Effective communication of requirements and status will be crucial, both within the IPT and with the extended internal team.
