The Role

Join the Boeing Global Services Programme Management team, based in Frimley or Dublin, to manage the post-delivery modification of aircraft for our customers. This role involves the integration of new equipment such as seating, IFE systems, and aircraft monuments. You will collaborate with Engineering, Airworthiness, and Logistics teams to ensure projects are executed within agreed schedule and budgetary constraints, while managing multiple stakeholders.

This is a highly visible, hybrid role requiring excellent communication skills with team members at all levels, both internally and externally. Previous experience in aircraft modification projects, or backgrounds in Programme Management or Project Lead Engineering within aerospace or MRO environments, is highly advantageous.

The position requires the ability to travel up to 50% of the time, sometimes at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Act as the company's focal point for worldwide airline customers.
• Take complete program ownership of the delivery schedule, quality standards, and financial controls from project award to final delivery.
• Identify and manage program risks, issues, and opportunities to protect or improve program performance.
• Lead internal program teams to execute program requirements.
• Coordinate internal activities to ensure all tasks align with program requirements.
• Coordinate and lead major milestone meetings with the customer (e.g., ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI) and compile minutes and action plans.
• Convey customer expectations and requirements to the Engineering team to ensure alignment.
• Provide weekly status updates, milestone schedules, and risk analysis summaries.
• Communicate program status, ongoing financial viability, and key issues to senior management.
• Manage customer change requests and support proposals for schedule and cost impacts.
• Initiate invoicing for project payments and follow up as required.
• Support the creation of proposals in response to customer RFPs.

Work Authorisation

This is a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must possess current legal authorisation to work immediately in the UK. Boeing will not provide immigration or labour sponsorship.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.
• Ability to work independently without high levels of supervision (self-motivated).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in aircraft modification/integration projects.
• Proficiency in all MS Office applications, including MS Project.
• A minimum of a BS Degree in a STEM field and/or at least 5 years of experience in a related commercial/military aerospace business.
• Qualification in Program Management or equivalent (e.g., PMP or CPM).
