BAE Systems is seeking a Project Finance Analyst to join our finance team within the Electronic Systems division, based in Rochester. This role is integral to an Integrated Project team, where you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial control and reporting for a group of projects, ensuring they meet their financial commitments.

Core Duties:

  • Financially manage a portfolio of projects and fulfil all associated reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and support line leaders in the preparation and completion of financial forecasts.
  • Partner with project teams to analyse budgets and variances, challenging assumptions to identify potential financial risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare financial reports by extracting and validating data from various sources.
  • Ensure all projects are fully compliant with the BAE Systems Operational Framework and Finance Policies Manual, satisfying all internal control requirements.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to local processes and working practices to enhance efficiencies across the team and the wider business.
