A400M MRO Network Maintenance Technician (B1/B2) - Zaragoza, Spain

Airbus Defence & Space has exciting new opportunities for experienced A400M MRO Network maintenance technicians (B1 and/or B2) to join our team based at the Military Air Base in Zaragoza, Spain. This permanent position requires full-time commitment at this location.

As part of the Airbus D&S Resident Team within the A400M MRO Network, you will be responsible for the performance and certification of aircraft maintenance tasks. This includes the supervision and certification of tasks performed by unlicensed mechanics, all conducted at the customer's main operating base.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and certify both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as agreed with Customer Services.
  • Implement Safety Bulletins (SBs) and modifications not performed at the Final Assembly Line (FAL) or arising after aircraft delivery.
  • Address customer-requested repairs and various maintenance tasks.
  • Manage and supervise small teams of non-licensed mechanics, including coordinating and overseeing their On-the-Job Training (OJT) as needed.
  • Contribute to the establishment of working processes and practices.
  • Provide technical support across all aspects of this advanced military transport aircraft.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • EASA or EMAR Part 66 license. Theoretical training combined with at least 3 years of experience may be considered under specific circumstances.
  • Type rating certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience working with Standard Bearings (SB) and Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) documentation.
  • Experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) of modern digital aircraft such as A380 or A350 is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Independent user proficiency in both English and Spanish.
