Your Role: Chargé d’Affaires Outillages (Tooling Business Manager)

Join the Tooling Projects team at our Nantes site and take ownership of ensuring the technical compatibility and integration of new tooling on our production lines. This includes a variety of industrial tooling such as drilling jigs, assembly stands, composite part molds, and assembly lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Challenge & Pilot: Challenge internal customers and suppliers to achieve the right technical level, cost, and deadline, while ensuring supplier commitments are met.
  • Design & Expertise: Provide expertise in cost estimation (costs and lead times), model and design CAD mock-ups (using CATIA), and perform structural calculations using the finite element method.

Your Profile:

You possess a solid foundation in mechanics and have successful experience in tooling for the production of metallic parts, composites, or assembly. You are recognized for your skills in tooling cost estimation and your mastery of CAD design under CATIA, as well as structural calculations (finite elements).

Advanced skills or knowledge in automation, electrotechnics, robotics, and measurement will be a significant asset (applications: lifting tables, line transit systems, machine and robot interfaces).

Fluency in English (technical reading and spoken) is required for effective communication.

You express yourself clearly and can adapt your communication to different audiences (internal clients, suppliers, production teams).
