Your Mission as a Quality Inspector & Improvement Referent

Join the A350 Quality department at our Montoir-de-Bretagne site, responsible for product conformity, quality performance, and customer satisfaction. In this stimulating environment, you will ensure the definition, implementation, and conformity of A350 System activities.

You will guarantee product/service conformity to specified customer requirements and contribute to "on quality, on time & on cost" delivery by getting it right the first time, ultimately increasing customer loyalty.

Your primary responsibilities include coordinating quality activities related to the production entry of two new versions: Freigther & ULR (Ultra Long Range), as well as MODs (Modifications) or major version heads within the Equipping unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct operational surveillance across your designated areas.
  • Lead and coordinate ULR, Freighter & MOD quality inspections.
  • Act as the primary quality interface for the Freigther, ULR & MOD Multi-Functional Team (MFT).
  • Ensure proper adherence to processes and product reliability for ULR projects during industrialization, aiming for series deployment.
  • Lead complex problem-solving related to industrialization.
  • Facilitate problem-solving groups and participate in industrial meetings to drive the reduction of internal non-quality costs.
  • Propose and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance process reliability, optimize performance, and ensure adherence, aiming for series deployment of the Freighter.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving actions related to quality, as well as continuous improvement projects by defining follow-up measures and identifying/facilitating improvements to increase process performance, product adherence to standards, and process reliability.
  • As a referent, support the quality team with tools (SAP, Capture, FIC, Circé...).
  • Develop and maintain quality tools (e.g., Knak and other quality tools).
  • Lead the digital transformation of PNE (Neutral Workstations) and all processes to reduce non-value-added activities and improve performance through AI (Artificial Intelligence) & Digitalization.

Your Profile (What will make the difference)

  • Over 5 years of experience in the aerostructure technical environment, with a strong awareness of industrial quality aspects.
  • Particular aptitude for continuous improvement, AI, and digitalization.
  • Autonomous, rigorous, and versatile, with a recognized team spirit.
  • Dynamic, with strong analytical skills and a pragmatic approach.
  • Languages: Intermediate English and fluent French.

The Montoir-de-Bretagne Site

The Airbus Atlantic Montoir-de-Bretagne site is a key integrator and final assembly line pre-chain. It assembles, equips, and tests the forward and central fuselage sections for all Airbus aircraft except the A220. As a vital Airbus Atlantic Logistics Hub, the site delivers its "Major Component Assemblies" directly to Airbus final assembly lines in Toulouse, Hamburg, Mobile, and Tianjin, via Beluga or ship.
