About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Purchasing for Airbus Protect, you will join our team as a Buyer. This position is integral to harmonizing purchasing practices within Airbus Protect, focusing on leading project procurement within our operational scope. Based in Blagnac, France, you will ensure the transnational continuity and consistency of sub-contracting and intellectual service agreements in a hybrid and multicultural setting.
Your Missions and Responsibilities
- Proactively implement the purchasing policy for a highly critical scope, ensuring economic performance objectives and achieving 'savings' commitments.
- Anticipate and consolidate transnational needs to identify opportunities for volume consolidation across subsidiaries.
- If you have an interest or experience in Cyber: Actively contribute to adding value based on the specifics of this niche market.
- Conduct complex negotiations through to signature and ensure rigorous contractual monitoring of project services.
- Develop and manage a panel of partners capable of meeting Airbus Protect's sovereignty requirements.
- Manage annual evaluation programs for service providers and suppliers.
- Act as an expert to resolve complex commercial or financial disputes and ensure strict adherence to Airbus Group's internal control procedures.
- Maintain permanent technological and market watch within our ecosystem (particularly in cybersecurity niches, for which internal support is provided if you are not yet proficient) to anticipate changes in costs and solutions.
- Support internal clients in defining their specifications and manage the Service's key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Process purchase requests from internal clients and ensure their transformation into orders in the ERP.
- Guarantee the conformity of needs expressions to Airbus Group standards and current legal regulations during their transformation into firm commitments.
Skills That Matter To Us
Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in Project Purchasing or Intellectual Services / IT Purchasing.
Desired Diploma: Master's degree in international purchasing management or a Master's in supply chain / purchasing.
English Level: Advanced.
