Assistant Service Delivery Manager

At Babcock, we are creating a safe and secure world, together. As an Assistant Service Delivery Manager based at our Babcock Technology Centre in Stoke Gifford, Bristol, you will play a vital role in delivering critical digital services that support defence operations.

In this role, you will support the delivery and performance of a portfolio of IT services and contracts, ensuring they meet business needs and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes. Working at the heart of our digital and defence operations, you will be instrumental in maintaining service performance, supporting customers, and enabling mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery and performance of IT services, ensuring SLA and KPI targets are met.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and third-party service providers.
  • Produce and analyse service reports covering incident, change, release, and problem management.
  • Support incident resolution, service requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to service development, contract renewals, and customer proposals.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working within IT service management or service delivery environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management standards such as ISO20000 or ISO9000.
  • Understanding of software support processes and service lifecycle activities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels.
  • ITIL Foundation (or higher) qualification is essential.

This role is full-time, 35 hours per week, and offers hybrid working arrangements.

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who can achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance.
