The Role: Associate IT Engineer
As an Associate IT Engineer, you will work closely with project managers and technical leads to deliver impactful IT solutions. You will leverage your Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge to undertake technical tasks, supporting the successful delivery of diverse projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from conception through to in-service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify problems, propose pragmatic solutions, and deliver outputs such as technical presentations, documentation, test plans and reports, user guides, design documents, and system installations/integrations.
- Undertake technical tasks with moderate guidance.
- Provide fresh perspectives and propose innovative solutions to challenges.
- Offer advice and guidance to other members of the team.
- Contribute to the estimation of effort required for various tasks.
Essential Experience:
- Experience working on projects with a solid understanding of IT procedures and concepts within your domain.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Client/Server Infrastructure, Networking, Virtualisation (Hyper-V), and Linux.
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey complex information.
- Experience in a variety of engineering projects.
- Act as a technical point of contact for support within your area of expertise.
Essential Qualifications:
- A degree in Science or Engineering, or an equivalent, nationally recognised, professional qualification.
