About the Role: Light Aircraft Builder (m/f/d)
As a Light Aircraft Builder, you will be involved in the manufacturing and maintenance of aviation equipment, working with innovative materials such as composite materials, light metals, and wood. This role focuses on the creation and repair of monocoque and sandwich structures, including ribs, frames, rotor blades, and fairings.
What You'll Learn During Your Apprenticeship:
- Reading and handling technical documents and processing various materials like carbon fiber manually and mechanically.
- Manufacturing components and assemblies using diverse production methods, assembling them into technical systems on aircraft, and testing their functionality.
- Utilizing aids such as templates, molds, master models, tools, and machinery.
- Maintaining and repairing aircraft equipment, inspecting onboard systems, and rectifying defects.
- Acquiring fundamental knowledge of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and flight control.
Apprenticeship Duration:
Your apprenticeship will last for 3 years.
What You'll Bring:
- Excellent secondary school leaving certificate with QA, good intermediate school leaving certificate, or a university entrance qualification (Abitur).
