About the Role
We are seeking an Equipment Mechanic (d/m/w) for the production halls responsible for the equipment assembly of A320, A330, and A350 aircraft. You will be based at our Hamburg Finkenwerder site, working for Airbus Aerostructures GmbH.

Your Mission On Board: Responsibilities
- Assembly & Installation: You will assemble mechanical components and parts within the aircraft fuselage strictly following drawings and work instructions.
- Pre-assembly: You will undertake the pre-assembly and installation of modules and pipelines directly at the build site.
- Quality & Functional Checks: You will independently inspect systems (e.g., for water) to ensure their flawless function.
- Documentation: You will conscientiously process manufacturing orders and precisely document your work steps.
Your Boarding Pass: Qualifications & Skills
- Education & Experience: Completed apprenticeship as an aircraft mechanic (d/m/w) with several years of experience in aircraft construction OR another metal technology apprenticeship (e.g., mechatronics, industrial mechanic, or mechanic) with several years of practical experience in an industrial environment.
- Work Approach: High sense of responsibility, meticulous and quality-oriented work approach.
- Team Spirit: Enjoy working in self-organized teams and value interface work (e.g., with work preparation, quality assurance, and purchasing).
- Shift Readiness: Willingness to work in a 2-shift system (early/late shift).
- Languages & IT: Fluent German language skills and basic English knowledge. Solid PC user skills complete your profile.
