Airbus Defence and Space is expanding its 'Integration Test & Analysis' team in Spain, based in Getafe, and is looking for skilled professionals to support the Avionics & Mission Systems domain, specifically focusing on Lab & Rig Integration Test activities. While the primary location is Getafe, occasional short-to-mid-term support for testing activities at other sites like Manching may be required depending on program workload.
Role Responsibilities:
- Gathering and assessing test requirements to define integrated test procedures and plans.
- Executing test procedures, analyzing final results, and reporting findings.
- Supporting development, certification, and qualification of systems through comprehensive testing.
- Engaging with key customers and upcoming aircraft programs including A330 MRTT, A400M, C295, Eurofighter, SIRTAP, TDMS, Tornado, EuroMale, NGF, and FCAS.
Main Activities:
- Assist project coordinators and Test Specialists in preparing and executing ground integration tests, supporting flight test execution, and deriving required reporting and data analysis.
- Contribute to the Integrated Test Team forum within the scope of assigned activities.
- Support development, certification, and qualification lab/rig testing according to Test Program requirements, ensuring appropriate V&V strategies and monitoring test progress.
- Participate in test planning, review, optimization, and challenge of Test Requests.
- Interface with Design Offices (DO), Airworthiness (AW), and certification authorities, supporting test activities in certification meetings, and authoring Certification/Qualification Cards, test plans, and reports.
- Coordinate with Test Integrators, Design Offices, Chief Engineering Office, and Program Offices, providing expertise for Avionics & Mission Systems integration architecture and design.
- Identify, categorize, track, and analyze system misbehaviours, providing detailed information and associated impact to designers.
- Optimize test data analysis methodologies and procedures, and manage priorities effectively.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Integration Testing (RIG/LAB Level) for any AVS/MISSION systems.
- Knowledge of the Integration & Tests route map.
- Strong focus on meeting timescales and milestones.
- Openness to proposing new ideas for process and tool improvement.
- Availability for travel and to work in multiple locations.
- Official formation in Integration and Test is valued.
- Technical negotiation level proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Competences related to Human Factors are appreciated.
- NATO SECRET clearance is valued.
