Bachelor Thesis: SAP ERP & Data Analytics (d/f/m)
Airbus Operations is looking for a motivated Bachelor student to support the Data Analyst / Business IT Specialist team. This thesis offers the chance to gain practical experience within our SAP ERP & Data Analytic functions at the customer line department.
Location: Hamburg
Start Date: 01.11.2026
Duration: 3–6 months (according to study regulations)

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Familiarization with the department's existing SAP-based ERP and business processes.
- Analysis and structured evaluation of operational process data to identify bottlenecks, anomalies, or optimization potentials.
- Exploration and application of suitable data analytics or basic process mining methodologies tailored to a realistic bachelor-level scope.
- Derivation of practical, data-backed recommendations to improve efficiency and workflow predictability within the department.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Currently enrolled full-time student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration (with an IT focus), or an equivalent field of study.
- First practical experience or strong academic interest in ERP systems (specifically SAP data structures) and data analytics.
- Basic programming skills in data-relevant languages (e.g., Python, R, or SQL) or experience with analytics tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex data workflows into feasible research questions.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Ability to work independently, combined with good communication skills.
