About the Role
Airbus is offering an exclusive graduate internship program in Spain, developed in collaboration with Camilo José Cela University. This program is designed for recent graduates interested in a professional career within the aeronautical sector. You will have the unique opportunity to pursue a Master's degree, structured in training blocks, designed to equip you with the most in-demand skills for the future. This academic journey is complemented by an 11-month internship at Airbus, within an area relevant to your degree, providing practical learning and completing your academic background.
Internship Details
The internship is a full-time, 40-hour per week commitment, commencing in early October 2026 and lasting for 11 months, with August being disabled for all purposes. Interns will receive an attractive study grant.
Challenges and Responsibilities within the EHS Department
The intern will be integrated into the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department, which is responsible for ensuring EHS compliance, monitoring and enhancing Airbus's EHS performance, and achieving EHS objectives aligned with the company's industrial strategy and vision. Key duties will include:
- Assisting in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the Airbus EHS Management system, ensuring compliance with site-specific standards.
- Ensuring EHS actions are conducted in accordance with agreed procedures and tools.
- Supporting the definition of communication tasks and enhancing visibility.
- Measuring and supporting the improvement of EHS performance, including contributing to employee awareness campaigns.
- Monitoring, supporting, and promoting EHS objectives and planning in agreement with all site stakeholders.
- Helping to ensure appropriate actions are in place for continuous EHS compliance and evaluating this compliance against environmental regulations at European, national, and local levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering and/or Environmental Science.
- Advanced level of English.
- Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Office. Project Management skills are considered a valuable asset.
- General knowledge and high motivation in EHS, Sustainability, and Aviation.
- Valued skills include analytical and problem-solving abilities, teamwork, collaboration, multitasking in a dynamic context, creativity, proactivity, and strong communication skills.
