Bid Project Manager - UK F-35 Support
Join BAE Systems and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the UK's F-35 aircraft fleet support. As a Bid Project Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering a complex, multi-partner solution, working closely with industry and government stakeholders to ensure UK-unique capability, readiness, and resilience for the next-generation Lightning Air system National Capability Enterprise (LANCE) bid.
This 18-month fixed-term contract offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring 3 days per week on-site at our Warton facility, with regular UK travel to locations such as RAF Marham and London.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the Bid/Campaign Plan.
- Lead key aspects of bid management, including Lifecycle Management (LCM) reviews.
- Drive the development of proposal submissions, liaising with technical teams for Statements of Work (SoW) and Bases of Estimate.
- Deploy business winning policies and processes, ensuring compliance with business requirements.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Hold a recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA, ICAEW).
- Possess considerable knowledge of financial systems (e.g., SAP, Infor LN, Sage) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience in supporting, guiding, and developing people.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to identify control weaknesses and implement sustainable improvements.

Location: Warton (Hybrid – 3 days on-site) with regular UK travel.
Contract: 18-month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £59,491+ (Depending on Experience)
