About the Role: Building Custodian
BAE Systems is seeking a dedicated Building Custodian to join our team at the Portsmouth Naval Base. In this crucial role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of facilities supporting BAE Systems Maritime Services Ship upkeep and maintenance operations. You will work collaboratively with building occupants and managers to ensure a safe, secure, and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with building occupants and managers to confirm all required facilities are maintained and operational.
- Ensure all health and safety notices are up-to-date with the latest Portsmouth Naval Base communications.
- Oversee fire alarm testing and associated procedures.
- Lead Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) activities and actively promote good behavioral practices among building occupants.

- A high degree of customer service ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
