About the Role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Buyer for Electrical Standard Parts (f/m) to join our Electrics Procurement team based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a dynamic and welcoming multicultural team managing a large portfolio of suppliers providing essential Electrical Standard Parts for our Work Packages across different aircraft families and within an Airbus Cross-Divisions dimension.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your procurement skills while collaborating with various key stakeholders of the Company to ensure the end-to-end business delivers on time, on cost, and on quality.

Your Challenges

  • Act as a Product Family Team leader for the Sleeves & conduits product family, defining the strategy and working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement Operations, and Programs.
  • Maintain the integrity of contracts and their execution, including the management of commercial claims, negotiation of technical modifications, price reviews, and the delivery of cost reduction initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and lead projects to optimize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks.
  • Evaluate overall supplier performance and support their development in close collaboration with operational functions.
  • Lead Call for Tenders for new products or to renew prices and contracts.
  • Identify and manage supplier-related risks, defining and leading appropriate mitigation actions.
  • Shape and contribute to the development of the Electrics Commodity Strategy in a fast-changing business environment.
  • Launch and manage transversal/team projects in line with Company objectives.

Your Boarding Pass

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement, Procurement Operations, Engineering, or Programs, with developing negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Experience in contracts management and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership behavior.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • Organized and analytical mindset.
  • Adaptable and agile.
  • Creative and proactive in challenging the status quo.
  • Negotiation level of English and French.
