About the Role
Airbus Helicopters España is looking for a professional to manage Programs and Projects within the AHE Airworthiness & Configuration Department. This role is crucial for ensuring the airworthiness and configuration compliance of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Classification of changes to the type certificate and repairs.
- Prepare Certification & Qualification Plans for new variants or product changes.
- Identify Applicable Requirements and propose Means of Compliance and Compliance Evidences.
- Lead negotiations with Airworthiness Authorities and Qualification Agencies to demonstrate compliance while preserving company interests.
- Approve minor changes / repairs when applicable.
- Lead Approval Flight Conditions / Permit to Fly processes, including military ones.
- Validate / approve changes to Flight Manuals, ICAs, and OSDs.
- Coordinate subcontracted activities within the scope of the role.
- Coordinate with Industry partners in various programs.
- Support Compliance Verification Engineers (CVEs).
- Manage the Continued Airworthiness process, including investigation of major incidents.
- Maintain AHE Design Organization Approvals.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering.
- Required experience in Certification and Qualification or Continued Airworthiness (military or civil).
- Demonstrable knowledge of EMAR / PERAM / EASA Part 21.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Spanish Military Airworthiness Regulations (RAD, PERAM, INTA Procedures).
- Demonstrable knowledge of EASA certification process is highly valued.
- Demonstrable knowledge of helicopter certification specifications (FAR27/29, CS27/29), FAR25.
- Essential soft skills are required.
- Spanish: Mother tongue/proficiency.
- English: Fluent.
- Advanced user level of Microsoft Office Package.
- Knowledge of NECTAR tool is advisable.
