About the Role
As a Compliance Administrator at Babcock's HMNB Clyde Faslane site, you will play a crucial role in keeping critical information secure and supporting a vital mission. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a safe and secure world while developing your skills in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing physical and electronic documentation, ensuring accurate retention, maintenance, and archiving of information.
- Supporting configuration control and records management activities within the Technical Information Centre.
- Producing reports and undertaking a range of administrative tasks, including document preparation, filing, scanning, and correspondence.
- Maintaining departmental systems and records, and assisting users with system processes and information requests.
- Assisting with meeting administration, visitor notifications, travel arrangements, supply ordering, and other team support activities.
What You'll Bring
Essential experience for this role includes:
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling information.
- Experience working in a process-driven administrative or document control environment.
- The ability to manage sensitive or confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proven ability to build positive working relationships and contribute effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications
You will need:
- Standard Grade English and Mathematics at Level 3, or an equivalent qualification.
Desirable experience includes:
- Experience of document control, records management, or business management systems.
- Knowledge of document classification and control methodologies.
- Familiarity with print and scanning technologies.
