// Role Specification
As a Compliance Technician within the Estates Delivery discipline of UK Defence Operations, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Estates Maintenance services. You will provide support and leadership, ensuring effective delivery across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee key compliance activities on site, acting as the responsible or competent person for asbestos, legionella, and FGAS management.
- Undertake Building Services tasks as directed by a Delivery Lead.
- Manage legionella requirements, including risk assessments, control measures, and performance monitoring.
- Manage asbestos requirements, including registers, inspection programmes, and training needs.
- Manage FGAS requirements, including registers, inspection programmes, and training needs.
- Analyze compliance arrangements and performance to identify and implement improvements.
Essential Experience:
- Understanding and experience of Asbestos, Legionella, and F-Gas management.
- Knowledge of key health and safety legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT applications.
- Ability to make informed decisions based on knowledge and experience.
- Commitment to personal and process continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Level 3 NVQ in engineering or a technical field, or demonstrable relevant administrative experience in a similar role.
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate the required experience and a willingness to learn. This full-time role (37 hours per week) is based at our Boscombe Down site, requiring a minimum of five days attendance per week. Compressed hours are available.
