Core Duties:
- Ensure that Configuration Management (CM) requirements are effectively disseminated across all contracted projects.
- Liaise with Customers to define, clarify, and correctly interpret CM specifications and requirements.
- Proactively advise and support programs on all aspects of CM, serving as the primary interface for documentation management and control.
- Provide bid support through the generation of estimates in accordance with CM estimating metrics.
- Regularly review resource requirements, contribute to project planning, and drive process improvements.
- Manage and maintain project status data within your area of responsibility.
Essential Skills:
- An applied understanding of the key elements of Configuration Management (CM) and the capability to support audits.
- Proficiency in applying industry CM standards requirements.
- Familiarity with the CMII process model.
- Ability to apply configuration identification techniques to guide project and engineering teams.
- Demonstrable expertise in configuration status accounting.
- Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and full project lifecycles.
The Configuration Management Team:
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Engineers and Engineering Project Managers to ensure CM requirements are communicated across all projects. You will be responsible for ensuring these requirements are documented and maintained within an appropriate Configuration Management Plan, aligned with industry standards.
