// Role Specification

You will join the Plant Management and Operations Management teams as a Plant Coordinator. The Plant Management team is primarily responsible for ensuring the implementation of major projects and key initiatives, both to achieve objectives and to comply with required regulations and standards.

Within the Operations Department, the support function is responsible for providing assistance to meet the various needs of the operational side of the business, with the aim of ensuring that production and deliveries are carried out on time and that the required regulations and standards are met. The team works closely with the main departments (FMRE, HSE, IM, Security, Finance, HR, Production, etc.) and Plant Management.

The successful candidate will play a key role as a liaison between the various departments, escalating any relevant information that requires action beyond what was initially planned, and providing support for the implementation of action plans within the framework of three main areas:

  • HSE: implementing measures, fostering a culture of prevention
  • CAPEX: monitoring and controlling investments
  • SDP: supporting, monitoring and coordinating projects relating to the plant’s growth and development.

YOUR CHALLENGES

The jobholder will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate action plans with the various departments, holding scheduled follow-up meetings and organising action plans in response to new requirements.
  • Communicate to the various departments the relevant information identified as necessary in the various action plans (health and safety, environmental, budgetary matters, etc.), whether through meetings, briefings or any established digital channels as required.
  • Take part in safety inspections to review conditions in work areas, identify any necessary follow-up actions, and organise and plan their resolution.
  • Report on indicators relating to established targets and draw up action plans in the event of deviations.
  • Participate in the company’s various internal and external forums where required.

SKILLS

Education:

  • Highly desirable: Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention covering the three preventive specialisms (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics, and Applied Psychosociology).

Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in similar roles related to project management.

Transversal skills:

  • A proactive, organised individual with great attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and discretion when handling sensitive data.

Languages:

  • Advanced level of English.

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Advanced proficiency in Excel would be an advantage for data management. Ability to apply a digital approach to an industrial environment. Knowledge of programming and project management will be highly valued.
  • Valuable / Nice to have: Experience in the occupational health and safety sector would be valued.
