Rolls-Royce is looking for a passionate and experienced Data Governance Delivery Manager to join their Digital Factory team. This role offers the challenge of leading a key development stream, focusing on building and managing high-performing teams that people love to work in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day delivery-focused leadership, supplier management, and coordination to achieve project goals.
  • Contribute to product strategy and the development of your team.
  • Bring technical specialists together in a cross-functional team to deliver multiple projects supporting strategic goals.
  • Drive for automation and continuous improvement, ensuring consistent, predictable, high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop, support, and encourage team members to reach their full potential and enjoy their jobs.
  • Oversee and be accountable for the delivery of digital products.
  • Deliver projects, products, and services using appropriate management methodologies, maintaining constant visibility of work in progress and key metrics.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Product Manager, Product Owner, Architects, and other key stakeholders to shape the roadmap and ensure project goals are met.
  • Manage the solution development budget, ensuring consistent delivery and excellent returns on investment.
  • Lead work planning activities using collaborative and dynamic processes, prioritizing work against team capacity and capability.
  • Utilize appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure adherence to agreed standards, methods, and procedures.
  • Coach and maintain a high-performing, cross-functional team including solution SMEs, test analysts, business analysts, infrastructure engineers, and other technical specialists.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for the team, resolving impediments and continuously improving delivery.
  • Lead supplier engagement for the delivery team, managing and building highly productive supplier relationships.
  • Actively participate in the Delivery Manager community, sharing skills, knowledge, and best practices.
  • Stay current with the fast-changing technology market and align with current best practices.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience adapting and pivoting to a rapidly changing business landscape.
  • Proven experience in running effective project delivery teams, enabling high-quality output.
  • A strong focus on continuous improvement and automation to eliminate manual tasks.
  • Leadership experience in supporting, mentoring, and developing people to fulfil their potential.
  • A business-centric mindset, considering delivery, cost, and quality, and understanding the value of solutions and how services and products underpin it.
  • Experience working with nearshore and offshore teams is an advantage.
