About the Role
Take off with Airbus Helicopters! We are looking for a Design Office Controller (Finance) (m/f) to join our Finance department based in Marignane, France. The Marignane site, the 3rd largest industrial site in France, is undergoing a significant transformation to create a high-tech, inclusive, and environmentally friendly working environment. You will gain a unique professional experience at the heart of helicopter manufacturing.
Your Future Missions
As part of a co-located team, you will collaborate with the Design Office's operational staff and program controllers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing programme Non Recurring Cost (Development costs).
- Providing quantitative and qualitative data to support management-level discussions and decision-making.
- Measuring performance against budgets/targets, highlighting discrepancies, and proposing mitigation actions.
- Ensuring transparency on Risks & Opportunities.
- Challenging and supporting business partners across all directorates for financial and operational performance improvement.
- Steering contributors through convergence processes to set targets.
- Ensuring data circularity (scope / capacity).
- Supporting business partners in change decision-making.
- Monitoring programs through Earned Value Management with business stakeholders.
- Controlling inputs and outputs for Cost at Completion and building storylines with Business Partners.
- Offering feedback and quotation improvements.
This job requires an awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
Your Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Strong financial skills.
- Technical expertise in SAP, MS Office pack and/or GSuite pack.
- Advanced level of English communication skills.
- Essential qualities include leadership, adaptability, and a challenges-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of Audit and Accounting will be a plus.
