About the Role
As a Digital Learning Advisor at Lyneham, near Chippenham, Wiltshire, you will play a vital role in shaping how training is delivered across both remote and onsite settings within the defence sector. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of engaging, accessible, and modern learning solutions that align with defence standards.
What You'll Do
- Advise on the effective use of technology within blended learning design.
- Work closely with course designers, media teams, and subject matter experts.
- Support, review, and quality check virtual learning environment content.
- Ensure learning design aligns with Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) and JSP 822.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement in digital learning solutions.
About You
You will have experience working within a virtual learning environment, preferably Moodle, and possess a strong understanding of learning and development or pedagogical practice. Essential is a technical understanding of digital learning technologies and tools, along with experience training individuals or groups on new technologies. Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills are also crucial.
Qualifications
A relevant degree/qualification or equivalent experience is required.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who can achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Please note that eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
Location and Working Arrangements
This role is based at Lyneham, Chippenham, Wiltshire. Hybrid working patterns are available. The role is full-time and permanent, 37 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday.
