The Role
This is an out-of-the-ordinary role where you will provide essential transport services, driving a variety of military and civilian vehicles on and off-road. You will support military operations and gain valuable skills in a dynamic environment.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Driving military personnel and equipment around Royal School of Military Engineering (RSME) Chatham sites, primarily using a coach.
- Transporting personnel to various locations across the UK.
- Operating military and commercial vehicles for which you are trained.
- Performing standard maintenance on a wide range of military vehicles, with training provided.
- Recording and maintaining training compliance.
This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week, based at Brompton Barracks, Chatham.
Essential Experience:
- Customer-focused with the ability to build positive working relationships.
Qualifications:
- Coach / D licence is essential.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role. Eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
