About the Role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Mechanical Procurement Officer (f/h) to join the Operational Purchasing and Quality department in Marignane, France. You will be part of a team responsible for developing suppliers of rough parts and raw materials. Your role will involve managing procurement to ensure optimal logistical performance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve supplier relationships for supply chain operations and deliveries.
  • Manage the order process according to needs, taking responsibility for formal commitments on delivery dates in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage risks, ensuring stakeholder engagement (SCQM, Strategic Buyers, Industry, etc.) and initiating corrective actions.
  • Optimize MRP parameters to secure the supply chain with optimal stock levels.
  • Be responsible for the application and collaboration of OTD1 rules, monitoring stock levels, and supporting KPI improvements (Coverage, OTD3, OTD1C).

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in logistics.
  • Knowledge of the 'mechanical parts' industry and metallic raw materials is an advantage.
  • Customer satisfaction oriented.
  • Proficiency in SAP and the Pack Office suite is mandatory.
  • Project management experience would be a plus.

Language Skills

  • English: Negotiation level
  • French: Fluent

Security Clearance

This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for one from the recognized authorities.
