Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and verify technical solutions, ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Lead investigations and drive design improvements across various projects.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to manage specifications and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide crucial support for project execution and mentor junior engineers within the team.
- Champion engineering excellence, health and safety initiatives, and drive cultural change throughout the business.
Location and Working Arrangement
This is a full-time role with a 37-hour working week. You can be based at one of our key locations: Moor Row (Cumbria), Warrington (Cheshire), Leicester (Leicestershire), or Bristol. Hybrid working patterns are available, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office.
Essential Experience and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience of working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams across varied project types.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering systems input and providing post-installation or third-line technical support.
- Ability to liaise with customers and suppliers on-site for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
- A strong background in EC&I, Physics, or Radiometric, with practical experience in control systems and analogue/digital electronics.
You will also need:
- An Engineering degree (or equivalent) in electronics, control and instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status or be actively working towards achieving it.
Security Clearance
