About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems and produce technical solutions that adhere to regulatory and safety standards.

- Serve as the Technical Authority for electrical services across various infrastructure projects.
- Conduct asset surveys and inspections, applying defence estate standards and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external contractors to deliver engineering solutions.
Essential Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in electrical design engineering within commercial or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements, including hazardous area considerations.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform electrical calculations.
- Experience in collaborative work with stakeholders across engineering and project teams.
- A recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Desirable:
- City and Guilds Design and Verification qualification.
- City and Guilds Inspection and Testing qualification.
