Leonardo, a leading international industrial group in Aerospace, Defence, and Security, is seeking an expert Electro-Avionics Times and Methods specialist for its Pisa facility. This role is within the Operations Area and focuses on supporting the production of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create production documentation for final assembly, testing, reconfiguration, and maintenance activities of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems.
- Develop Assembly and Control Sheets, including Production Bill of Materials and Assigned Times, based on applicable technical documentation.
- Engage in Concurrent Engineering with the Technical Department to process Change Requests, resolve issues, and achieve cost reduction.
- Provide support to assembly and maintenance activities for technical problem resolution.
- Manage Quality Alerts in coordination with the Quality Control function.
- Support Acceptance Test Procedures and troubleshooting activities.
- Assist external suppliers with the manufacturing of parts and/or assemblies, including preparing applicable technical data packages.
- Draft Technical Supply Specifications for supplier companies.
- Manage First Article Inspections (FAI).
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Diploma of Industrial Expert in Electrotechnics.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience (Expert level).
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of electrotechnics principles.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical wiring diagrams (EWD).
- Competence in the electrical terminal crimping process.
- Understanding of aeronautical principles and regulations.
- Expertise in the production processes of electrical wiring harnesses.
- Skill in installing wiring harnesses and electro-avionics equipment.
- Ability to install software and configure electro-avionics equipment.
- Behavioral Competencies: Team Working, Flexibility, Problem Solving, Results Orientation.
- Language Skills: English (B2 level).
- IT Skills: Good knowledge of MS Office package; familiarity with FAST, SAP, and CATIA V5 is preferred.
- Other: Availability for business trips to flight operations sites, other plants, and suppliers.
