  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions and ensure delivery plans.

// Role Specification

Leonardo, a global industrial group and a world leader in Aerospace, Defence, and Security, is seeking a Supply Chain professional for its Helicopter Division, based in Vergiate.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage Critical Issues: Address issues highlighted by internal clients, engaging suppliers through dedicated calls and Webex sessions to obtain immediate feedback and provide context on the impacts for Leonardo Helicopters (LHD).
  • Analyze Critical Parts Status: Obtain short-term delivery plans for critical parts and analyze medium/long-term scheduling to engage suppliers in necessary corrective actions. Conduct weekly monitoring with suppliers on agreed actions.
  • Provide Internal Feedback: Timely update internal clients on the status of critical parts being managed, without waiting for requests.
  • Monitor Critical Shipments: Manage dedicated shipment requests and engage expediters for the monitoring of critical material shipments.
  • Identify Potential Critical Parts: Analyze the portfolio for parts that have historically caused issues and review parts identified as critical by expediters, assessing the gap between requested and promised delivery dates.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations.
  • Good knowledge of planning, procurement, and distribution processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Good command of English (B2 level).
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and results-oriented skills.
