Your Tasks

  • Be an integral part of an agile team responsible for designing, implementing, and testing safety-critical real-time software.
  • Develop embedded applications and low-level platform software for Flight Control Computers.
  • Conduct software reviews and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Design and document software architecture.
  • Support the planning of software increments.
  • Contribute to design definition and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze stakeholder needs and/or upper-level requirements, specifying actionable requirements.
  • Write requirements in compliance with quality criteria and define their allocation to system elements.
  • Manage requirement changes, including impact analysis.
  • Verify that requirements are correctly and completely implemented.

What We Are Looking For

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
  • A passion for software development and strong teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in Embedded Systems Software Development and/or low-level Platform Software.
  • Good knowledge of Processors and Processor architectures for Safety Critical Computing.
  • Experience in Hardware/Software Interface Definition.
  • Experience with programming standards and Model-based System Design (data flow and state machine diagrams).
  • Experience with SCADE and Automated Code Generation, along with Requirements Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with safety-critical standards such as ED-12C/DO-178C, ED-218/DO-331, and ED-80/DO-254.
  • Experience with ARINC 653 based real-time operating systems and IMA (ED-124/DO-297) is highly desired.
  • The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal). German language skills are a plus.
