About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in our Platform / Marine systems team by applying your technical expertise and engineering knowledge to assist in delivering Engineering and Waterfront support. You’ll provide and review Problem Identification Report technical responses to the production teams and undertake the analysis, design, development, and preparation effort required for Technical Instructions. Importantly, you’ll conduct maintenance and defect investigations and analysis; and develop TM200’s for Urgent Defect Rectification.

About You

You’re a seasoned Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering and are ready to utilise your technical expertise to support our operation and maintenance of vessels and supporting systems. If you have a trade qualification in an Engineering environment, you’re also encouraged to apply! Your curiosity gives you the ability to analyse requests for variances to determine whether proposed changes have merit. With well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and team player attributes, you will enjoy collaborating with your immediate and broader unit to achieve desired results.

To be successful you will bring:

  • Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance.
  • An accredited (under the Washington Accord) bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Previous experience in a similar role with design, operation or maintenance of complex / large vessels is desirable but not essential.
