Finance Manager

As a Finance Manager, you'll provide strategic financial business partnering across the Defence Support Group (DSG) contract, delivering insight, challenge and support to operational leaders. This is a highly visible role that combines commercial finance, financial planning, forecasting and data analysis, giving you the opportunity to influence key decisions across multiple sites and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial business partnering support to operational leadership teams across the DSG contract.
- Produce budgets, forecasts, performance reports and variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Manage and developing complex financial models, including labour forecasting tools.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Support financial control, contract performance and long-term business planning activities.
The role is based in a hybrid working arrangement at DSG Donnington, with 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working patterns are available. Travel to DSG Catterick will be required on a monthly basis.
Essential Experience:
- Strong commercial finance experience.
- Proven finance business partnering experience within an industry environment.
- Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience building and managing complex financial models.
- Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data and provide clear, actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
