Role Overview:
Airbus Defence and Space in Manching is looking for an Aircraft Electrician (m/w/d) to support the "Retrofit AWACS" department, specifically for the AWACS E-3A Retrofit project.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conducting planned and unplanned assembly, maintenance, and repair work, as well as modifications on the AWACS E-3A weapon system.
- Performing fault and disturbance analysis based on reported issues and implementing solutions.
- Installing modifications according to drawings and specifications, including identifying, analyzing, and assessing the scope of damage for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and assemblies.
- Determining repair or replacement scopes.
- Carrying out repairs, adjustments, calibration, and functional tests independently and responsibly, both internally and externally (e.g., customer service).
- Executing assembly work and modifications following plans, drawings, and instructions.
- Initiating parts procurement.
- Documenting damage reports and repair procedures.
- Ensuring continuous improvement.
- Performing first-level quality checks.
- Installing wiring harnesses and equipment for aircraft construction.
- Crimping wires, connecting wiring harnesses, and managing cable routing.
- Using and safely operating manual and/or automatic tools, as well as test equipment, to control electrical installation.

Your Profile:
- Completed apprenticeship as an Aircraft Electrician or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul).
- Independent, flexible, and a team player.
- Negotiation-level German language skills.
- Good knowledge of English.
