Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Augsburg is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic (d/m/w) to support our production team. In our Augsburg facility, we create the shells and sections for the aircraft of tomorrow. Your Work Environment

You will work in Augsburg, a city blending historical charm with modern economic strength. Augsburg is a pioneering location for German aircraft construction, focusing on the manufacturing and assembly of fuselage parts and structural components for civil and military aircraft.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assembly: You will drill, rivet, connect, grind, and bond various components, assembling complex structural components (metal) and equipment (electrical and mechanical systems).
  • Quality Assurance: You will adhere to relevant manufacturing and quality regulations in your daily work.
  • Inspection and Testing: You will conscientiously inspect and test your assignments, performing rework and repairs in your work area if deviations occur.
  • Documentation: You will document according to regulations and internal rules.

Your Profile

  • You have completed training as an Aircraft Mechanic (d/m/w) or a completed vocational training in a metalworking trade (d/m/w) with several years of professional experience, or comparable skills acquired otherwise and several years of professional experience.
  • You can easily read complex drawings and construction documents.
  • Teamwork is essential for you, and you support your team with commitment and flexibility.
  • Reliability, independence, and a quality-conscious working method are a matter of course for you.
  • You are comfortable working in a 2 or 3-shift system (early/late/night).
