About the Role
To support the "TOR Prototypes & One Dock" department, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an Aircraft Electrician/System Tester (m/f/d) for One-Dock/Prototypes/Drone operations.
In this demanding role, you will be significantly responsible for the operational readiness and technical advancement of state-of-the-art aviation systems. Your responsibilities will range from classic maintenance of the PA200 Tornado to highly specialized system integration on unmanned aerial systems (drones). You will work at the interface between proven military aviation and pioneering autonomous technology.
This role is also possible with reduced weekly working hours and an adjusted scope of duties.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Conduct both planned and unforeseen maintenance work.
- System Integration & Modification: Install electrical modifications, technical changes, and retrofits. A special focus is placed on the integration and installation of future systems into unmanned aerial systems (drones).
- Prepare and execute complex system and integration tests (e.g., power supply, weapons, fuel, landing gear, flight control, and emergency supply) in accordance with current regulations.
- Systematically and comprehensively troubleshoot issues identified during testing and professionally repair or replace electrical components.
- Train and mentor new personnel in operational flexibility on aircraft/drones.
- Safely operate the OPAL system in daily work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Successfully completed vocational training as an aircraft electrician or comparable technical training, ideally supplemented by further training as a technician/master craftsman or extensive relevant professional experience in aviation.
- Experience in electrical processing and system integration (modifications) is desirable.
- Good German language skills and confident technical English for working with manuals and documentation.
- Willingness to work shifts.
- Willingness for business trips (international travel/campaigns).
- Explosives certification is desirable.
- High sense of responsibility, precise working methods, and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical interrelationships.
