Role Description

As a Graduate Solution Architect within the IM&T Product Fulfilment (PF) team, you will support key activities within the IM&T PF Architecture team. This role offers the opportunity to engage with diverse stakeholders across the business, understand their requirements, and liaise with internal IT stakeholders. You will advise on IT solutions to meet these needs, ensuring alignment with functional and organizational strategy and roadmaps. Key responsibilities include aligning planning processes and IT with company goals, identifying optimal technological solutions for business problems, and articulating software structures, characteristics, and behaviors to project stakeholders.

Core Duties

• Support demand management meetings to appropriately route demand to delivery teams and align with strategic roadmaps.
• Assist with business analysis and elicitation of customer requirements.
• Define features, phases, and solution options in accordance with customer requirements.
• Produce weekly performance metrics for IM&T management and architecture packs to communicate complexity surrounding customer demand.
• Input to high-level designs to obtain quotations from IT service providers and mobilize IT projects.

Location & Working Arrangements

Location: Barrow (Cumbria). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements; however, for this role, you will be expected to attend your site 3-4 days per week.

Qualifications

You must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a minimum 2:2 bachelor’s degree or a pass at master’s level in the following subjects: Computer, Business with IT modules, Software, Systems, Data Science, IM&T, Robotics.

Contract & Start Date

Length of contract: Permanent contract

Start date: 25th January 2027

Salary & Bonus

Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus
