// Role Specification
Responsibilities:
Your main tasks will include the professional and disciplinary leadership as well as the personal development of a team of 6 highly qualified colleagues.
You will be responsible for the development, assurance, and optimization of all processes in the finance department, with a focus on accounting, financial and management accounting, (project) controlling, as well as budget and planning processes.
Your tasks will also include liquidity planning and management.
You will monitor and assess monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS, as well as regularly recurring statistics and monthly reports.
Together with the management team of Jena-Optronik, you will develop future strategies and optimization potentials, taking revenue growth and profitability targets to the next level.
You will lead the financial part of tenders as well as the process of general discussion and release of tenders towards Jena-Optronik's customers.
You will support internal and group-wide Airbus transformation initiatives and actively participate in further projects within the Airbus Group.
You will report directly to the management of Jena-Optronik as well as the head of the finance department at Airbus / Space Products. Furthermore, you will be granted Procura (Prokura) at Jena-Optronik.
Your Profile:
- You hold a university degree in a business administration program with a focus on finance, accounting, and/or controlling.
- You have several years of professional experience in a comparable position and possess in-depth knowledge in all areas of corporate controlling, financial analysis, and commercial and tax law.
- You have experience in personnel management.
- You have a strong interest in both strategic and operational business topics, as well as a pronounced sense for business development.
- Strong analytical skills, flexible action, and proven expertise in the digitalization of the finance department complete your profile.
- Due to your fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, you work confidently in an international environment.
This Job Request will be allocated to the projected Joint-Venture scope towards a leading European player in space.
