About the Role
As an HR Manager at BAE Systems, you will work in partnership with business leaders and senior stakeholders to drive the delivery of the People strategy. You will implement integrated, business-focused solutions that support organisational performance by embedding strategic workforce planning, talent, resourcing, reward, and performance initiatives. Core Duties
- Partner with the business and senior stakeholders to drive the implementation of the People strategy and deploy integrated business-focused solutions.
- Optimise business performance through the effective deployment of strategic workforce planning, resourcing, talent, reward, and performance processes.
- Operate within an operation, unionised, project-based area.
- Influence and coach others to deliver business priorities.
- Analyse data to identify trends and implications, leading local action to address these.
- Provide operational advice on a range of people issues, including case management and employee relations issues.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experienced professional with deep knowledge of People functional and business matters.
- Experience in a trade union environment and case management experience.
- Experience in business partnering roles, with demonstrable influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to partner with and influence others to deliver value.
- Deliver operational outcomes and proactively respond to business needs.
- Analyse information from a variety of sources, demonstrating evidence-based decision-making.
- Chartered membership of CIPD or equivalent.
