HR Intern Opportunity at Boeing
Boeing is seeking an enthusiastic intern to join our Human Resources (HR) team. This role provides a unique opportunity to be involved in a wide spectrum of HR activities, including business project work, revision of policies and pay practices, and case management. You will gain valuable insights into the Boeing UK business and a broad understanding of the generalist HR sphere.
Position Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the HR team to execute project actions, engage with diverse stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of business projects across the UK employee base.
- Provide assistance and guidance to managers and employees on various people-related matters.
- Undertake investigation work to support HR cases and assist in formal hearings, including minute-taking and process facilitation.
- Collaborate with the HR team and Total Rewards functions to contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of updated policies and pay practices.
- Support the creation and delivery of training programs for managers.
- Assist in gathering data and metrics for the global dashboard.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have the right to work in the UK; Boeing does not sponsor employment visa status.
- Possession of a UK driving licence is mandatory, as travel to sites nationwide is required, particularly during university careers fairs which may involve overnight stays.
Desired Skills
- Currently studying a degree course (any subject is accepted).
- A demonstrated passion for the Aerospace sector.
- Confidence in presenting to large groups, both in-person and virtually.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Resilience and the capacity to think effectively under pressure.
